Our discussion on Edified Interstitial Contemplation (or EIC for short) starts with the introduction of Attribute as our main topic of systemic analysis. The essence of inventive edification is to proliferate until a beneficial outcome is reached. However, without a way to guide that exploration, the process can easily degenerate. We begin our EIC journey with a concrete analytical regulation to help identify and minimize unproductive or harmful outcomes. Before expanding to complex systemic behaviors and structures, we need to know precisely what we are working with as our conceptual materials. Our inventive approach is clearly contemplative, but we need to be precise on how the inventive position is implemented. EIC aims its focus on the interstitial aspects of Behavior Dynamics, but when we approach concrete attributes, there is also a specific attribute position that must be identified. Systems can reach high levels of complexity through the interplay of diverse interactions. But that doesn’t mean that the systemic building blocks are simple. Our reductionist impulse seeks basic pieces to build sophisticated mechanisms, often leading us to “find” rudimentary starting points. In our perspective, these systemic initial components need to be extremely special in order to be able to build complex configurations—so much so that our systems of thought and language can’t represent them in isolation....
